Arthur Hayes’ AI Blockchain Project FLOP Launches Developer Testnet

FLOP, an AI agent-focused blockchain project launched by BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes, has launched its developer testnet.
In a post on X on November 3, Hayes shared that the FLOP developer testnet is now live. Developers can receive test FLOP tokens, explore blocks, and use verifiable AI inference through AI agents on this testnet.
The testnet includes:
- A blockchain explorer
- A faucet for distributing test tokens
- An application programming interface
- A software development kit for developers
Hayes emphasized that the testnet tokens have no value and will not count toward rewards or airdrop calculations. He added that no official FLOP token has been issued yet, and the testnet may be reset.
